Gannettoid.com | email@example.com | Posted: Dec. 1, 2009 • Afternoon report
Tara Connell, Gannett's vice president of ContentOne, issued a memo Tuesday discussing her department's national planning calendar.
"It contains the important, cross divisional events of 2010 that are or can become multi-platform content packages, including major sporting events, holidays, philanthropy, civil rights and census," Connell wrote in the memo obtained by Gannettoid.com.
Connell also wrote that an interactive version of the calendar is expected to be released in early 2010.

Attached please find the first ContentOne National Planning Calendar. It contains the important, cross divisional events of 2010 that are or can become multi-platform content packages, including major sporting events, holidays, philanthropy, civil rights and census. We welcome your comments and input and will continue updating it based on your feedback.
We are making this .pdf version available pending the rollout of our Dashboard, which will contain an interactive version. That version will show sales and editorial opportunities, timelines and details about the packages. That version also will include more entries from the field and ways to sort by event dates, advertising windows, types of content and eventually information about previous year’s campaigns. The intent is to better communicate, in advance, the content packages we can/will offer and thus better prepare you to organize sales opportunities around them. We expect that version to be ready in the first quarter.Until then, we hope this helps. Please direct your suggestions to Marie Marino (email@example.com), our Content and Calendar Coordinator; Jeanette Barrett-Stokes at firstname.lastname@example.org; or to me at email@example.com.
