I'd like to know as well. What's the latest and why is all of this being kept hush-hush? What's the damn secret?

If you read the memo posted here on Gannettoid's site, you will read how IT DID NOT GO WELL. They had equipment problems, they had people problems, they had problems all around. That was confirmed in a meeting with our GM where he stated that it was turning out to be quite a disaster. Not nearly as easy as they thought it was going to be. But those of us who build ads already knew that, didn't we? :lol:

How did the rollout go for Des Moines: 11/2/09 and Iowa City: 11/2/09? Did everything go smoothly or is it still in progress? Did any designers get laid off as a result of it?

And with Indianapolis to follow on 1/18/10, have there been any changes there yet?
