This morning TMS returned my call. For anyone who needs to speak with the company, have your six-digit TMS ID number on hand since that's how the person pulled up my records.
Something tells me I'd better hang onto this paperwork for a few years after I complete my taxes. The person on the phone explained the supplemental pay IS counted as wages on a tax form however it is NOT counted as wages insofar as unemployment benefits are concerned. I suppose this is why we were told to say "no" early on when we were asked if we received vacation or holiday pay each we we claimed benefits and also received supplemental pay.
Only state and federal taxes are withheld (no Social Security, etc.) from the supplemental pay. That was the discrepancy I asked about, and it was explained. Hope this helps anyone who has questions.
