A friend of mine who works at the Times Herald in Port Huron, Mich. says 2-3 layoffs in production and one newsroom. They found out today and were gone from the building by mid-day.

I work at the Times Herald, and I can confirm that five people have already been laid off here, with one more to come for a total of six. Of that number, only one layoff was from the newsroom.
