Yes, and I'm trying to figure out how we'll eventually get screwed out of it. Maybe they are planning on 3 weeks of furloughs next year?

I think they are starting to get nervous about all the people they cut. Now there is next to no one available as back up. By allowing employees to schedule time next year, they can refuse to allow time off during the holidays when everyone is stretched a little thin anyway. Me, I already used all my time. Doesn't affect me either way.

Re: Carry over vacation time
Yesterday we were reminded of our opportunity to take unpaid vacation between now and the end of June. Woo hoo!
This is not official furlough, but a chance to help the company. Of course, it can only be scheduled at management's discretion.
I think I'll worry about planning my paid time off, thank you.

You're kidding? Tell them to get back some of Martore's and Dubow's bonuses and put back into helping the company!
