Pension Info arrived

Got my pension forms the other day (I'm an August restructure victim) and it was significantly lower than what it should be. Any others find this to be the case?

My bank sent the papers in to roll my pension money over into an IRA in August. I just got a call notifying me that they never received a check. I'm still trying to find out where the money is. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get some answers?

I had to enlist the help of my financial person for the company to roll my 401K into an IRA because had I done it the way the screen prompted me, I would have lost about one-third in taxes just for leaving Hewitt! That's absurd. Good luck!

Back to my original question- regarding the actual amount of the pension they say you should get. Has anyone else done the math and found the amount they say to be wrong? Mine was about 12% under what it was supposed to be.

Hi again. Unless I am mistaken since I have not checked that site for a while, you can check with Hewitt to see when the check was mailed, etc. Sorry if my information was incorrect.

Again- No check was sent. Just got the forms requesting where the check for $X be sent. My point again- the amount of $X printed on the FORM was lower than it should have been. And so again I ask, has anyone else who recieved this letter/form THIS WEEK checked to make sure the amount they say you are to receive is CORRECT???

Yes- I asked the question in the original post and provided the contact info above- That's what I mean. What should I let go? Again- has anyone else confirmed the recently sent pension info is correct???

Did you receive a printed estimate from corporate prior to being laid off of what your pension amount should be? I did receive one and it was incorrect but they sent me a corrected version.
If you do not have that I suggest you contact a pension lawyer and let them handle it. You will get no where doing this on your own.
