You will be receiving more detailed information in the upcoming weeks but wanted to make sure I sent this information to everyone as soon as I could in order to get the word out early. Gannett recently finalized plans with NBCF to work together during the month of October to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention — during October divisions across Gannett, including MomsLikeMe.com, will be participating in a variety of ways to drive this message home. MomsLikeMe.com will be participating in a NBCF “Roadblock” of sorts where the MLM header sponsorship position will be reserved for 3 weeks for NBCF (excluding any market that currently has the position sold — which should only be Lafayette, IN). I’m still waiting to hear more about the exact dates but please make sure your sales teams are aware that this will be happening so that they handle proposals appropriately.
Please forward this message onto your sales teams; I will provide more details about exact dates for this roadblock as well as additional detail about MomsLikeMe.com’s involvement in the coming weeks.
Should you or your sales teams have any questions, please let me know. To reiterate, the only market that Ad Ops is showing with this position sold for October is Lafayette, IN — all other markets will NOT have access to the header sponsorship position during the month of October.
